A conferência será ministrada em Inglês e o Professor Marcelo Porto fará a tradução simultânea. Será uma atividade presencial e haverá certificado para os presentes.

Kifayat Ullah is an accomplished researcher, educator, and academic leader. He began his educational journey by earning his Master's degree in computer science from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Pakistan. He also received a PhD in computer science from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2016. In 2022, he completed his postdoc on "emergency response system using fog-assisted vehicular ad hoc network for smart cities" at the interSCity lab at USP, Brazil. Kifayat has over ten years of teaching, research, and administration experience in different areas of computer science. His research interests include smart cities, transportation, vehicular networks, and fog computing. He worked as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences Peshawar, Pakistan from November 2016 till April 2024. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor (Visiting) at the Faculty of Computing (FACOM), University of Uberlandia (UFU) Brazil.
"In this presentation, we will explore the key principles and strategies for maximizing the effectiveness of online learning. Covering topics like how the brain works, focusing on the difference between focused and diffuse thinking. Techniques from famous individuals, emphasizing the importance of controlling procrastination and practicing regularly. The presentation will introduces methods such as the Pomodoro technique, deliberate practice, and active recall to improve learning in online environments."
